2012: What is investing into education in MENA? A comparatively new concept for the region, we addressed the fundamentals of investing into the education sector across the region. As the first gathering of the education and investment community in the region, key questions were raised and addressed as to the viability of successful partnerships between educators and investors.
2013: What are the practicalities of investing into education in MENA? Our second edition addressed the regulatory, financial and operational challenges of developing expansion, partnership and growth strategies in education businesses in MENA. With an increase in deal activity in the region and two new education-specific funds launched at the event, there was greater positivity towards education business partnerships in MENA.
2014: How do you deliver exceptional education businesses in MENA? This year, well focus on how to build outstanding institutions that serve the needs of tomorrows learners. Going beyond the traditional bricks and mortar of education, well look at how innovation, technology and exceptional business leadership can transform education businesses into successful, profitable and scaleable ventures.
